The inspiration for Torochi came from the designers' fascination with geometry and nature. The base of the rack resembles intricately designed trees, created by a graphic designer. When viewed from above, the rack showcases a parallelogram, a shape commonly used in mathematics and geometry. This combination of natural and geometric elements gives Torochi its distinctive aesthetic appeal.
What sets Torochi apart from other TV racks is its thoughtful design and unique features. The rack features three hanging slots with colored tops, providing convenient storage for remote controls, documents, pens, notebooks, and more. The container plate, made from wood, adds a modern and industrial touch to the design, while the white color gives it a clean and sleek look. The use of wood adds warmth and visual comfort to the overall design, while the colored tops bring an element of fun and vibrancy. The base of the rack creates a visually lightweight effect, adding to its overall appeal.
In terms of construction, Torochi is made using high-quality materials and advanced techniques. The white base, which supports the wooden box, is crafted from carbon steel with welds and electrostatic painting. The box itself is made from wood, with a varnish finish. The base of the box is 30mm thick, while the sides are 18mm thick. The colored tops are made from acrylic with a thickness of 5mm, ensuring durability and longevity.
With dimensions of 1400mm in width, 350mm in depth, and 500mm in height, Torochi is designed to fit seamlessly under your TV, providing both functionality and style.
Designed and realized in Brazil, Torochi is the result of a collaborative effort between Romulo Teixeira and Cintia Miyahira, both accomplished architects. Their shared vision and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the design.
Torochi is not just a TV rack; it is a statement piece that adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any living space. Its unique blend of nature-inspired elements and geometric design sets it apart from traditional furniture pieces. Whether you're looking for a functional storage solution or a conversation starter, Torochi is the perfect choice.
